Lifft India Awards names ‘Weavers of Imagination’ best doc

Iranian documentary ‘Weavers of Imagination’ has succeeded to receive Best Documentary Awards from the 1st edition of Lifft India World Festival.

The documentary produced by Iranian filmmaker Mohammad-Sadeq Jafari depicts the story of a handful of blind people, who devise a Braille plan for weaving a carpet, and moving on, they enjoy the happy moments of assembling and jollying.

Productions in the fields of literature, information, film, television and theater are honored at Lifft India Awards, which is held in Lonavla, a region near Mumbai.

‘Weavers of Imagination’ has also been selected for the main section of Zlatna Anthropology Festival, 22-24 September, Romania.
